🐾 Meet Scout 🐾

We have an older male longhair Weimaraner puppy available to the right home.

Scout’s original home had to back out due to a change in their circumstances. Since then, we’ve been preparing him for his next chapter—treating him as our own and taking him on many adventures to expose him to new experiences. As Scout has grown, we’ve gotten to know his personality better, which helps us match him with the best possible home. Our goal isn’t just to find a home—it’s to find the right home.

So, what does this mean for Scout?

Scout has had lots of training and adventures! He loves to learn and always tries his best during training sessions. He:

  • Sleeps through the night in a crate
  • Travels beautifully
  • Walks nicely on leash
  • Waits politely at doors
  • Is good for nail trimming with a Dremel
  • Comes when called—every time
  • Knows sit, down, stay (mostly!), and vehicle loading/unloading
  • Has started agility and tracking training
  • Is learning bird hunting by following the big dogs in the woods

He’s calm and well-mannered in the house with the other dogs, and also content on his own in a pen or kennel. He’s unfazed by thunder, gunshots, skateboards, bikes, or traffic noise. He’ll run with you without jumping, loves to nap on the couch, and is always up for a cuddle.

Scout isn’t perfectly trained yet, but he’s well on his way to becoming an amazing companion. His foundation makes him easy to integrate into a new home and easy to train for any sport—or just for life. Because of this extra training and experience, Scout is priced higher than a typical 8-week-old puppy… but he’s absolutely worth it.
